Hi there. I'm Chris Govias.

I'm a Product and Service Designer living in London, UK. I help businesses, large and small, with design thinking and by creating exceptional user experiences and interfaces. I also take photos and occasionally do some writing.

Currently, I'm the Head of Design for the Ministry of Justice. I've also worked as the Design Lead at the world's largest travel company, Expedia, improving its B2B products for developers. And before that (almost ancient history), I led a team at Reevoo as their Head of Design.

Spacelog brings NASA transcripts to the web in a searchable, linkable format. Built at a /dev/fort by a team of thirteen, I collaborated with designers Hannah Donovan and Gavin O'Carroll. We were responsible for every aspect of the product from the UX and information architecture to the visual design and layout.

Reevoo Mark

I led the the transformation of Reevoo's flagship product into a responsive product with a significantly better user experience. The final result is an excellent example of optimising and realigning a product, instead of redesigning it.

Assorted Lettering

While I don't claim to be an expert, I really enjoy hand lettering. It's a natural extension of my typographic nerdiness and the manual aspect of lettering satisfies my artistic side.
